Are you running in circles tired, hurried to meet deadlines and not spending enough time to nurture your health and relationships with family and friends?

Then you need a personal assistant.  Chances are you are focusing on tasks that you could hire someone to do for a LOT less than it takes you to do it.

  •      Picking up dry cleaning
  •      Returning emails and phone calls
  •      Filling up your car with fuel
  •      Grocery shopping
  •      Gifting
  •      …and the list goes on and on

Hiring someone to help you with the daily details will be good for you, AND it’s good for business.  This will force you to apply yourself to the projects that make you money which will be better use of your time and energy.

When and how should you hire a personal assistant?  Answer:  Now and quickly.

If standing in line at the grocery store or Wal-Mart doesn’t convince you to hire an assistant, nothing will!

    Kiyla,
That's my next step in hiring. Do you have any great delegating techniques and trick for Type A control freaks when it comes to letting go and getting the support we need?
Thanks for the reminder. Now, where to start?
    Write on!~

    • Kiyla Fenell says:

      Lisa,
Haha… I completely understand. Just think of all the wonderful projects you could work on if you didn’t have to do 80% of the tasks on your to do list. Then you will find the courage to let go. From one type A control freak to another. I got your back! Thank you for your vulnerability.

  3. Thanks to your excellent tips and ideas, I hired my first personal assistant last month.  Her first day was Tuesday and it was one of the best days I've had in a long time.  What a difference one person can make and she was so happy to be of assistance.  Win, win for everyone.   Your tips I've read on this blog helped me to get the courage and the knowledge I needed.  Thank you Kiyla, from the bottom of my heart.

  5. Oh, I envy you and Debbie!  I do have a house cleaner/organizer who does do a lot for me, but she isn't a personal assistant and I really need one.  Frankly, I had such a challenge last year finding a good team for my business (until I used your Ultimate Staffing Success System!), that I ended up putting getting a personal assistant on the back burner until I got my business team in place.  I have that in place now, so it is time to focus on finding a great personal assistant ASAP!  Thank you for giving me the tools, information and motivation to "staff up" and delegate smartly! xoxo

  6. Ohhh there is so much I could have someone help me with …

    Kiyla,
    You are so right!

  8. I'm fortunate enough to have a retired hubby to run many errands for me, the very supportive man that he has always been, but anything to do with the computer is off limits (we both agree!), so that will be on my list soon Kiyla, and I know exactly where to go for help!
    Thanks!
    Lynn

  9. Kiyla,
It makes so much sense to focus on the tasks that make you money and allow someone to do the others for you.  Great information.

      Dr. Robert,
It does make a lot of sense to delegate or outsource as much as possible to make the space to work on bigger, more lucrative projects:) Thank you for your comment.

  10. Ahhh! I would have so much more time but I am like Lisa and have an extreme problem with letting go. I am going to start making my list to see how much more can be done. Thanks for the encouragement Kiyla : )

  11. Thank you for simplifying how to hire an assistant!
    Linda

  12. I love this! It's so important to ask for help and give ourselves permission to receive it. We don't have to do it all to have it all, no? :) ~ Carmen
